We became aware of the Ragdoll breed several years ago while searching for one for my brother. We found them difficult to find and the non cat like behaviors intriguing. Then we found Lillian but she was not the color pattern my brother was seeking, so we brought her home and fell in love. We came from a farming community and had been raising pure bred cattle and horses most of our lives, so we decided to see about raising a litter of kittens. We had our first litter 2 and a half years ago and found the experience life changing. Now we have litters with our King Barney.
Our King and Queens are free to roam our home and are loved on continually. Our kittens are from pure bred TICA registered Ragdoll lines and we are active members of TICA . It us took over 2 years to find a breeder who would allow me to have a Queen as a breeder and we are honored to have been given the privilege from Ragdolls NW.
Ragdolls sometimes called "Floppy Cats" due their ability to just plop down and contort into undignified positions or "Puppy Cats" due to their true love of people and need to interact and play with their human. Ragdolls have a happy demeanor, don’t bite or get a attitude. They love to be mauled, hugged and carried around like a ragdoll so …. great with kids.
