We became aware of the Ragdoll breed 6 years ago while searching for one for my brother. We found them difficult to find, and the non-cat-like behaviors intriguing. Then we found Lilly Anne, but she was not the color pattern my brother was seeking, so we brought her home and fell in love. We came from a farming community and had been raising pure-bred cattle and horses most of our lives, so we decided to see about raising a litter of kittens. We had our first litter 4 and a half years ago and found the experience life changing. Now we have litters with our Prince William.
Our Kings and Queens are free to roam our home and are loved on continually. Our kittens are from pure-bred, TICA registered Ragdoll lines and we are active members of TICA. It took us over 2 years to find a breeder who would allow me to have a Queen as a breeder and we are honored to have been given the privilege from Ragdolls NW.
Ragdolls are sometimes called "Floppy Cats" due to their ability to just plop down and contort into undignified positions or "Puppy Cats" due to their true love of people and need to interact and play with their human. Ragdolls have a happy demeanor, they don’t bite or get bad attitudes. They love to be snuggled and carried around like a ragdoll.
